Ever read a game changer in book form? This is it for me. When I first started writing, I stuck to the formula of romance. Boy meets girl. They fall in love, some major event happens to keep them apart, and then they find their way back. But after reading this book years ago, something shifted.
I realized one, Christopher Moore is funny AF and I will read everything by him. But also, two, there are no limits in writing. I can write a romance novel, sure, but I can include some pretty weird supernatural elements as well if I want (Death Drives a Minivan). Or maybe an urban fantasy sci-fi twist (Call It Magic). There are no boundaries. How ever weird you wanna get, go there. You’re only limited to your own imagination.
